This is great!
I have always been skeptical of epoxy “fix-it’s.” My customer had a pin hole leak on a Delta shower valve. The valve was discontinued, and it’s unique shape made replacing it difficult because of the tile. I tried this reluctantly, and was very pleased. After sanding and prepping the area I applied per manucaturers instructions. It worked perfectly.

used years ago, still working
About 6 or 7 years ago we used some of this on a pinhole leak in our galvanized pipe in the attic which dripped until the ceiling bulged and came down. We did leave it to dry overnight and didn't expect it to work. Years later we have had other pinholes in several pipes, but that repair is still watertight. We've used a clamp recently and waiting to see if it works as well for as many years. This is a pain to apply but we followed directions and let it dry longer than it said and I am amazed it's held up for years.

This stuff will work IF: you take ALL the pressure off the line, wrap it following the directions carefully, wait several hours, wrap it again following the directions, and wait several more hours (or overnight if you can). Even then, it still might seep, but not much. I suggest that you use the 2" x 48" size, because the larger sizes do not wrap as evenly.
