what is this plant? two grew in my annual mix - bright red sturdy stems. big green leaves with red veins. no flower yet.

how can i submit a picture? any idea of what the plant is, and if its a flower?

Thank you for your question. Based on the flowers in the Annual Cut Flower mix it is more than likely Celosia. It could be Clarkia but Clarkia doesn't have the thickest stem. Hope this helps and our best to you this gardening season.
