A:  Thank you for your question. This specie of Salvia is more of an attractant for pollinators. If your looking to repel mosquitos we would recommend growing any or all of the following: Sage (common herb) Lavender, Catnip, Lemon Balm, Basil and Marigolds. Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question. Yes you will find on other sites this variety is a hardy perennial in zones 8 or higher however we have found it will still perform as a perennial in colder climates if cut back to ground level and protected (by a layer of mulch for example) over the winter months. If we can be of further help don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team at 508.285.5800 and our best to you this season.

These seeds worked beautifully for me. However, they will self-seed all over your garden.
