Superb driveway markers
I have a small access road that crosses a stream on my ranch. When backing up it is hard to see exactly where the crossing is and what is just long grass hiding the drop off into the stream. Both my wife and I have backed off the edge and had to use the winch on my 4X4 to get the car out. These markers are high enough that you can easily see them in the rear view mirror. The orange color makes them especially visible. I used a piece of 1 inch pipe with a cap to drive them in. Since they are very flexible, you would probably have to make a hole first if the ground was hard or rocky.

My new “Fibermarker Reflective Driveway Markers” will help keep me out of the ditch this winter. On my driveway I have a couple of places where in the wintertime when I’m plowing or just driving, if I were to drop a wheel off the edge of the road it could be a real disaster. The main problem area is where a culvert passing under the driveway and has a steep drop off on both sides of the driveway. I installed a total of 7 Fibermarkers, 3 on one side and 4 on the other side of the driveway. The driveway was built from a granite rock base, so I needed a rebar stake to drive into the ground to be able to place the Fibermarkers (see pictures). The Fibermarkers have a reflective wrap at the top which will show the edge of the road at night. The orange fiberglass rod will show up nicely in the winter snowplow debris on the edge of the road. I like the design and the added safety provide by Fibermarkers to be able to get home in the winter and at night.

These reflective markers did the trick. I ordered them tall to be seen from a car mirror while backing up. Easy to plant in the earth & seem to be staying tall.
