WHY WOULD THEY MAKE THE BOARDS IN DIFFERENT WIDTHS!?
The 16' boards were about a 16th inch WIDER than the 12' boards, which meant 1) the boards didn't line up, 2) could not use the between board fasteners since the 12' boards need wider gap, 3) The 12' boards need to be drilled & screwed - ADDT'L LABOR TIME IS MONEY. Seems like a small thing, but a 16th inch per board becomes a quarter inch off after FOUR boards & a half inch off after eight boards, YOU DEFINITALY SEE THE MIS-ALIGNMENT - SUPER FRUSTRATING, TIME CONSUMING, & EXPENSIVE!!! WHY WOULD THEY MAKE THE BOARDS IN DIFFERENT WIDTHS!?

Beautiful composite decking with structural integrity for a life time. My deck is secured with clips that do not put holes in the deck for a smooth surface without ugly screws.

Two different widths and ends were not square
We bought 70 boards at once, all 12 feet long. While installing I noticed that some were slightly wider (1/8") than others. Given the small gap between boards you can't use the two widths on the same row. Also, the board ends were not square. The boards were actually 12' 1" so I could trim them.
It would be nice if the finish boards were grooved on one side but I used my multitool to cut in my own so one side could be held in with the clips and the other side with screws underneath.

Bowed and cut at angle
I installed on deck recently. The boards all had some bow you had to bend out of them which isn't easy since the hidden fasteners don't tightly clamp the boards to the joists to hold in place. The other aggravating thing was almost all the end cuts were not square, you have to square them up before a butt joint. All in all they look pretty good once laid but it shouldn't be that difficult.

The Fiberon Armorguard Composite Decking Boards are really great! I'm enjoying not having to worry about repainting after a heavy rain downpour or slipping. It feels good and it feels better for my knees. I'm happy!

Great decking wood. The moment I install it, all my neighbors got jealous. Wood is indeed very expensive but worth the investment. No more power wash, stains for decades. I couldn’t be happier. I hesitated before buying it upon the recommendation of my handy man but I am glad that I did. Keep getting compliments from my neighbors, guests and family members.

Installed Fibron ArmorGuard in summer 2015 (it is now summer 2021) and other than a few scratches by a very exuberant 100# dog it still looks brand new. The product has not warped, faded, swollen, peeled, become moldy nor done any of the other things that many composite decking products seem to do over time. All it takes is a simple soap and water clean up twice a year and looks just like the day we installed. It was a little difficult to install but after a small learning curve my husband and I installed with no professional help. Loved the hidden fastener system and the matching deck screws when we couldn't use the hidden fasteners. Liked the availability of deck boards with the groove or without, depending on the location we used the boards. We ordered the matching fascia boards and it really dressed up the deck sides and the sides of the stairs covering the rippled bottom of the boards. Topped the deck off with a white composite railing system (not purchased at HD) with black square spindles and used white composite 4x4 sleeves for the posts. This combo makes for a beautiful accent with the Brazilian Walnut deck boards.
I will say the dark brown coloring does conduct heat so the boards are hot in the full summer sun and can be slippery in the rain but I use a large area rug and it helps with both.
Make sure you read the requirements as the spacing of joists is 16" on center for the actual deck but was closer (if I remember correctly 14" on center) for stairs, so we added an additional stringer for our stairs and have had absolutely no sagging of the boards of the stairs.
