Hello, I pay a cable provider for all my television services, to include HBO, Starz, Max, and others. I only get HD and not 4K because they do not send the 4K signal out. Will this enable me to watch these pay stations in 4K?
Hi David! The Fire TV Cube 3rd Gen has a nifty Super Resolution feature that can be used to enhance lower resolution signals coming through the HDMI-In port on the Cube. So long as your cable box connects via HDMI, you would just plug the cable box into the Cube then connect the Cube to your TV. You'll also get to take advantage of hands free Alexa functionality. Many cable providers also provide an app that you can use to stream content on demand from something like the Fire TV Cube, so you might even be able to access higher resolution content that way.
