Mid-Back Multi-Functional Black Fabric Executive Swivel Office Chair

The primary reason I bought this chair was that it has many ways to adjust the seating. The controls work okay, once you figure them out. But during assembly, it was difficult to connect the very heavy control assembly to the plastic bottom of the chair. The Allen wrench supplied was too short; and the design of the connections seemed to be someone's afterthought. One of the plastic holes in the bottom of the seat was not aligned with the bolt that it was suppose to accept, so someone (at the factory?) had literally roughly whittled or drilled away part of the plastic hole so that the bolt could "find" the threads it was supposed to screw into. And because the bottom of the seat seemed not to have been designed specifically for attaching the control assembly, in was necessary to employ four bushings (supplied) to fill empty spaces that should not have existed in the first place. Keeping the bushings in the correct position while inserting the bolts through them was very difficult. The legs are plastic, not metal. And to top it off the seat has very little cushioning, so that after sitting on it for several hours if feels like you're sitting on a board. I ended up having to use an extra cushion. If this chair were half the price, I might not feel so suckered; but at $276 (including tax), I feel a little ripped off.
