3/8 in. x 50 ft. Air Hose with 1/4 in. MNPT Fittings

I bought this to replace a REALLY old PVC air hose I’ve been using for a number of years and used for 10-15 years before I got it. I was expecting it to be easy to wrap, lay flat, and not have a memory. I bought it yesterday and worked with it for about 2 hours just trying to get it to coil, uncoil, stretch across my garage, and put back away again to see how it would work and it was one of the most infuriating experiences I’ve ever had with an air hose. I’ve worked in shops all my life all the way back to my teens helping my uncle restore old cars and never had issues like I have with this hose. Check out the pictures. Not what I expected based on the packaging. I’m returning and buying a regular rubber hose. Maybe I got a bad hose?! Either way I’ll stick with regular hoses like I’ve used most of my life since they just work - even if they are heavier.

Upon purchasing the Flexilla 5/8” (50 feet) hose at Home Depot, I found the properties of the hose to be very good. I like the fact of the ‘O’ Ring being implemented at the female end (faucet connection). The ‘O’ Ring provides a better tear strength with water resisting properties and is not affected by moderate chemicals, oils, and solvents. The ‘washer’ works well but an ‘O’ Ring appears to be much better. Along with the above, the hose is “drinking water safe”, a nice feature in hot weather where one wishes to take a sip. In terms of kinking, I have found no issues in using a hose hanger attached to our home in rolling, or coiling up. All hoses are prone to abnormalities contingent upon the climatic conditions (temperature). We have some expensive hoses and they act in the same manner. Flexilla, being a hybrid hose is surely inline with being a top quality hose, no complaints. Easy on and off threads: ‘no leaks” > nice. Accompanying the preface, anodized aluminum fittings (strong), lightweight (supple), and up to 150 psi pressure rating; more than sufficient. The Flexilla hose carries a lifetime warranty, so there should be not any concern. The company has addressed many questions from consumers, as we stand by their company 100 %. A toll free number is available should any have questions ( 800-645-8258 x 106). Cons: There have been many stating that the Flexilla hose is prone to mold as displaying photos. At this time, as purchasing new, I have not seen mold as yet.

A must have!! We watched a video showing several brands of air hose performing in snowy conditions (you can't assume you won't need to refill air in your vehicle tires when the temperature drops).

Had this for a year and only use it only for inside housework. It's worked out great so far. Had to use it outside the other day for just a few hours. OMG !!! this thing started to bubbling up all down the hose in different areas. So disappointing... Pay all this money for Quality to watch it fail. Couldn't imagine what it would have done on a 90 degree day in direct sunlight... So avoid this hose if you plan to use it in any heat environment...

Every FLEXZILLA product I had purchased throughput the years shines for it quality. This hose is no exception. Very satisfied I am with it, indeed.
