Water leaks and soaks all mail
I would strongly advice you not to install this product outdoors. For an indoor install it may be fine but hard to tell if the problems we are having would be fixed inside or not.
Our building developer (2018) installed this on our front fence for mail to the 4 condo units here. The primary problem is that when it snows or rains, water gets into the box and the mail is completely soaked. We have had important documents destroyed because they are stuck to the envelope and ink runs etc. Another problem is that the keys to open the box are difficult to insert and turn. This could be due to water intrusion and may be mitigated if installed indoors.

Great mailbox for a 4 unit apartment. Replacement keys are hard to get, only from vendor that has a minimum purchase amount of $75 before taxes and shipping.

I am sorry that I am not able to rate...
I am sorry that I am not able to rate this product fairly. The Post Office was given notice the same day of purchase to come and place a lock and permit me to use the mail box. The Postal system is delinquent. I went to them on multiple occasions and was told that I am not the only one waiting for that service and that I should be luck that is the only problem I have. This is what our Federal Postal Service has become.

Decent product. However, the back panel has an inch & a half opening all the way across. Why? This gap allows all of natures elements into the interior & soils the mail. Any explanation as to why that would intentionally be produced that way?
