Decided to do a garage makeover and this wall unit worked out perfectly! Easy to install. I just purchased a 2nd set for my other wall!

I love organization and this garage storage set had everything I needed. My husband put it up in a couple of hours.

This product was very easy to install (I'm a small 5'2 woman and was able to install it by myself). The product seems very durable. The hooks are very easy to place and move. I will probably buy more to increase my storage space, but this was the perfect trial starter kit.

We used this as part of an extensive garage/workshop remodel and the results are very pleasing, fitting in very well aesthetically with the rest of the storage cabinets that we bought for the project. The Flow Wall panels are lightweight, easy to install and the Flow Wall hooks and other storage accessories are very easy to install and reposition. In our particular case, we had a run of wall above the workbench that we wanted to use that was only around 3 feet long. We decided to cut the 4' long Flow Wall panels down to length and this was very easy using our 12" miter saw however since the panels are made of plastic, I expect that you could cut them with a hand held circular saw, jigsaw, sawzall or a hand saw with a fine metal or wood blade as alternatives. As a result, we were able to create a 32" wide x 3' high panel for the workbench and another narrower 3' x 16" panel which we placed in an unused area by our workshop door to store electrical extension cords, work gloves and other items we're always using which we can 'grab and go'. The single page instructions are very straightforward and are included in each box of panels. There isn't any advice in the instructions about how to cut the panels however. The instructions recommend a 4' long by 1' wide panel be secured on each stud with a total of 8 screws and there are 96 screws provided with specially painted grey heads which help hide them once screwed in. There is also a set of dowels to make it easy to line up panels when you are butting them together in a longer run. One item you will need to get more of if you plan to create some more 'custom' installations are the silver/grey finish strips that seal off the exposed end of each panel. Without them, the holes and recesses in the exposed edge of the panels will be a good nesting place for spiders etc. and there are only 12 strips supplied which is enough to finish the ends of only six of the twelve panels included in the kit. The pictures on the Home Depot website of a typical product installation also show some type of finishing strip between each length of 4' panel however these are not included in the kit (which is a little misleading since they state that "all installation/finishing hardware" is included). To measure, cut and install our two storage walls took about an hour and was very easy to complete once you plan and install the first/lowest panel after locating the wall studs. The subsequent higher panels simply slot into the lower one and take only a few minutes to install. In our case, we drilled 1/8 pilot holes for the screws to make the install a little tidier rather than trying to force the woodscrews through the plastic paneling. In terms of the supplied hardware, it would be helpful if there were more hooks included in this kit. We used the 8" hooks (4 included) to hang the extension cords (2 cord reels per hook) and one of our larger cordless drills. The shorter 4" hooks (6 included) were used to hang smaller cordless drills, a sawzall and a jig saw over the workbench. The hooks simply hook and 'snap' into place with some gentle hand pressure while the smaller bins are equally easy to install and are very handy for often used items like tape measures, pencils etc. and are semi transparent making it easy to see what is sitting in them. If you have a lot of garden tools like rakes, shovels, mattocks, brooms etc. like we do, expect to invest in a few extra boxes of hooks to get the job done. Since there really isn't much to the hooks (painted metal with a foam covering on the prongs) it seems like Flow Wall could lower the price of the hook sets and sell quite a lot more as at the current prices, they are a 'think twice' purchase decision if you need a lot of them. All in all, the grey flow wall helps turn unused wall space into useable storage. We plan to use the remaining panels for a longer run to hang step ladders and garden tools once we have completed the remodel on the remaining half of our garage/workshop.

The Flow Wall is a great system. It’s easy to install, very customizable, strong, useful, and it looks great. Out of the box: The 48sq ft system comes as twelve 4’ x 1’ panels which allows for a high level of customization. You’ll see in my photos/video my unique layout requirements which this system easily accommodated. Aside from the installation of the panels on the wall, the only other thing that requires some assembly is the soft basket, which is simple. Installation: Very simple. Probably the most complicated part is planning your layout so it works best with your wall. Just find/mark your studs so you know where to secure the panels, hold the panel where you want it and screw it in. The screws go straight through the PVC material, so there are no holes to line up with the studs. I also used a level with each panel. My only two complaints of the system are both regarding installation. 1 – the instructions say to use 12 screws per panel, but they only provide enough for 8 per panel. 2 – only 12 finishing strips (the border pieces) are included with the system. There are 12 panels, each panel has two ends, so they should include 24 finishing strips. Not everybody (myself included) put enough panels side-by-side to make only 12 finishing strips enough to cover the entire border. Using the system: The system feels very strong, even with only 8 screws per panel as opposed to the recommended 12. I’m not very concerned with overloading it. There are a lot of attachments included, which is great. I would anticipate a system like this to only include a few things in an effort to get you to spend more money on accessories, so I was pleased with the amount provided. I probably will end up buying some additional attachments to maximize efficiency. I really can’t say enough good things about the Flow Wall. It’s so useful and makes my garage look neater. I recommend this system to anybody who has the space for it. It’s much better than a standard pegboard, and worth the extra cost. This is my second Flow wall for a new house. Love the product. Easy to install. I like the new side caps that give the wall a clean look.

Installed easily and looks good. Holds everything very neatly.

Decent product, installation took some time as there are no pre-drilled holes in the slats. Comes with 4 quality hooks and 10 very cheap hooks that’s extend 3 inches from the wall so they are only good for hanging small items.

Works well. Will ad more later.
