    A:  Don't know the part number, but if you put the part name in the home depot website search box, the part comes right up on your computer screen, costs just a little over $10.00. It has worked fine with my toilet for years, just as good as the original. Hope this helps.

              Within 1 to 2 years the fake chrome plating will begin to corrode (turns green) and gets all over...
              Within 1 to 2 years the fake chrome plating will begin to corrode (turns green) and gets all over your fingers. The raw plastic underneath is exposed and looks terrible. I have replaced these once already and they keep corroding. I do not know what to do to prevent this from happening. They need to be coating in something better than does not corrode like this.

              These things corrode/rot with mild cleanser. Be careful. I've gone through three in on a glacier bay toilet that is just over 2 years old in a guest bathroom in our finished basement that never gets used... only cleaned by our maids. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the initial one that came with the toilet but nope... they're all cheap. Not only do they look horrible, the corroding/rotting plastic chemical junk that its made of in China comes off on your hands as well.

If you want a safe bowl cleaner we strongly recommend using “Flush n Sparkle” Bleach 8300P8 Systems. This system has a patented trap system inside the using unit that prevents chlorine gas from escaping and doing harm to the parts inside the tank including the fill valve.
