can it be used on aluminum

Answer

Hello! Aluminum builds up a hard oxide layer that is difficult to melt. To solder aluminum, you would need special aluminum solder or brazing rods (Forney part # 46111) and special aluminum soldering flux (Forney part # 37025). Thank you for your question!
