A total timber shed erected over poorly mixed concrete base which absorbs water when rains rotting timber sections which are set over this poor concrete base without using any of damp/water proof material. Concrete base around this shed's three sides are about 5 Sq. meter. What should I use to seal the surface of this poor concrete base to make best water/moisture proof. I can wire brush the surface of the concrete to make clean and dust/flake free. Whatever you solution/material you may suggest; Do I need to use any under coat if yes, what is it. I would be grateful if you would kindly let me know your very helpful advise.

Call the manufacturer of this product and ask for their recommendation. It might be best to parge over it. Ideally I would say replace it but that is probably last option.

Do I have to remove former drylok? After appling application, can I paint over the wall?

Asked by: basement
Any coatings including Drylok need to be removed prior to applying the L3000(needs to penetrate into the concrete). If you paint over a surface treated with L3000, wait at least 5 days.
