Reinforced with bracing boards to prevent frost push-out. If you like an organized garden, you’ll appreciate how the bracing boards divide your garden into five separate planting areas. The 11-inch-high stacked side boards give you lots of depth to grow both underground veggies, as well as tall plants. One ‘L’ Shaped garden bed provides 80 square feet of planting area. Tool-free snap-lock joints make it simple to install. Your kit comes with everything you need except the soil and plants. Each modular kit includes twenty-eight of our 2” Classic Sienna composite boards, twenty 2” tool-free snap-lock stacking brackets and four of our 2” tool-free snap-lock 4-Way bracing brackets. The insulating open-channel boards trap air, providing insulation to your soil. Keeps soil warmer in the Spring and Fall, and cooler in the Summer, so you can grow for an extended period. Stacking brackets allow you to install the second layer of your garden just by inserting the stakes into the brackets below. AnswersHaven't noticed any soil escaping from between the stacked boards. However, the entire bottom is open - it is not designed as something that can be put on stilts, but rather it raises the height of the bed taller than the surroundings. Given that it is made of plastic, building a base and joining it to the product making sure there are no gaps, and then raising it is going to be more of a project, and you will probably save very little ((if any) time using this kit.

I got 3 of the 4x8 11 inch high beds for a new garden that I'm putting in. I think it took longer to make sure they were square, to themselves and to each other, than it did to put them all together. I'm a light framed female that isn't particularly athletic and I was able to build and install all 3 beds by myself in about two and a half hours. I was incredibly impressed with how easy they are to set up. I was a little nervous about how much they cost but they saved me so much in time that I think it was more than worth it. The instructions are clear, but don't help a lot with making sure the bracket hinge pieces are lined up properly with the multi-directional brackets. If you get these you'll want to pay attention to where boards join with the multi-directional brackets. If you lay it out as you go and you won't have any problems. It's super easy if you make a mistake, the locking piece comes out really easily with a screwdriver. The boards are a lot sturdier than I was expecting, I'm very pleased with the quality. There was no bowing or instability once I got them filled. I was very happy when I realized that each bed comes with 2 boxes and that those 2 boxes could be cut down to perfectly cover the ground inside the bed to help choke out the existing grass.

Shipping took a couple of weeks but knew that up front. Came in and missing a few parts. Company sent me the missing pieces that took some additional time. Finished assembling last night and fill with dirt. So far so good. No instruction to tell you that the divider is only one and not one stacked on another. No instructions nor videos that I could find to tell you this. Had to just count up the boards and look at the invoice/ package contents to makes sure I was not missing any boards too.
Time will only tell. Hope this does work out cause I have a few add ons I want to buy and my wife is doing this ridiculous size flower garden that is going to be over 500 square feet and I feel with the versatility this product will benefit my wallet after she changes her mind how its going to be laid out vs me treated lumber.

Good quality, no defective boards. I like the wood/polymer mix, more weather resistant than 100% wood. Hubby and I assembled everything in a couple of hours. However, that included a weed barrier and chicken wire barrier (we have a mole problem) so for the frame itself plan about 90 minutes. It all fit together well. My husband is an engineer and spatially smarter than me, it would have taken me much longer to figure out the geometry! We'll see if its still standing a few seasons from now.

Love it.. easy to assemble. We put a small block of pressure treated wood(cut to size) in the section where screws go thru.. we also used longer screws. I had seen a lot of concerns about screws just going thru the plastic & told my SIL... this was his idea to fix the issue. Very good looking boxes. Should last a long time!

The garden bed was not hard to assemble but I recommend getting help from another person. The picture clearly shows three sections of 4 feet but when I got it there was only one section of 4 feet and then a larger section. That was a bummer because I did want the three sections but it still looks good.

Unit arrived in a timely manner and all parts were included with nothing broken or damaged. The HD website suggests that the beams have a rounded top to interlock with the adjacent tier. That was not the case here. the beams are strictly rectangular but seem to hold up so far.

A Beautiful Memorial
My husband passed away from cancer on April 28 after being diagnosed on Christmas Day, 4 months earlier. He loved flowers and our corner garden had really become neglected. My brother and I used frame it all to transform the space into a beautiful memorial garden to him and both of our deceased mothers. The actual construction time was only a few hours not counting digging up prior plants and replanting. The product is very easy to work with and allows creative design due to its flexibility. Love it and highly recommend it. Before and after photos are provided.

Everybody loves it.
We have bought these before for our raised veg'y garden beds. They are easy to assemble, no maintenance, and look great. Our soil is mostly dirt and sand, not much good black soil. When we decided to put our flower beds in, it was a no brainer. Raised flower beds! Ordered what we needed, one side at a time. Have had a lot of great reviews, and we love it. Could only show one side the other was bigger then 5mb.
