What kind of battery does it take
What is the difference between the M155 and the M150?
The main difference is the live wire detection! The M150 has lighting bolts that illuminate when Live AC has been detected while the M155 live wire meter learns the live AC and can even tell which side of the stud its on!
Will it work over a wood paneling wall
Yes! The M155 will work over wood paneling to find wood/metal studs!
Can this read though plaster walls?
We can not guarantee the M155 will work through plaster as it can be applied extremely thick. I would recommend the MAX stud finder as it has a detection depth of 2.5" inches!
Will this find studs through a tile shower wall
The M155 will not work through tile. We recommend the MAX as it is designed for tougher materials like tile, OSB, plywood, etc.
What type of batteries does it use?
The M155 uses 2 AAA alkaline batteries!
