Will thse nails work with the Home Depot rental Dewalt nail gun DW66C 15 degree

Asked by Joe1770 March 7, 2020

Answer

I would buy the nails for that specific gun.

Will it work with a Bostitch N66C-1 Siding & Fencing Nailer? (15 degrees)

Asked by javillanueva67 May 9, 2019

Answer

Yes, these 1-3/4" Freeman Coil Siding nails will work in the specific Bostitch model you mentioned.

Can I use these in my Hitachi hi NV 45AB2 1 3/4" COIL NAILER

Asked by Ronald April 12, 2019
1
Answer

No, these are Siding nails, you have a roofing nailer. The siding nails are .092" diameter, which is too small for the roofing nailer, which takes .120" diameter. Here is an example of a coil roofing nail that would work, 1-14" long. Freeman RN-125: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Freeman-1-1-4-in-11-Gauge-15-Degree-Wire-Collated-Galvanized-Roofing-Nails-7200-Count-RN-125/203502962?keyword=rn-125&semanticToken=2003000000+%3E++st%3A%7Brn-125%7D%3Ast+cnn%3A%7B0%3A0%7D+cnr%3A%7B8%3A0%7D+cnb%3A%7B9%3A0%7D+f%3A%7Ba%7D+oos%3A%7B0%3A1%7D+tgr%3A%7BNo+stage+info%7D+qu%3A%7Brn125%7D%3Aqu

Will these work in a Senco 450 nailer?

Asked by Eskelly September 20, 2018
1
Answer

Do you mean model 3C0001R? That nailer uses 11 gauge (.120-Inch) , full round head roofing nails 3/4-Inch 1-3/4-Inch smooth shank. These Freeman nails are 12 gauge siding nails with smaller heads and aren't intended for use in a roofing nailer.

will these work on my bostitic n57c nailer . need .080 to .090 nails.

Asked by bob August 25, 2018
1
Answer

They will not work. From what I can tell the N57C is a coil framing nailer, these are siding nails and are a different gauge.

Can these be used on pressure treated fence boards?

Asked by Steven June 24, 2018
1
Answer

These are electro-glavanized so there is some galvalanization which makes them ok for Pressure Treated wood, however if you're looking for the longest lasting product in PT wood, it would be recommended you go with Hot Dipped Galvanaized: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Freeman-1-3-4-in-x-0-092-in-Dia-Hot-Dipped-Galvanized-Ring-Shank-Wire-Collated-Siding-Nails-3-600-Count-SNRSHDG92-134WC/301980713

Will they work in the 15 degree Dewalt Siding Nailer?

Asked by ss November 18, 2016

Answer

These nails fit a Coil Siding Nailer like this one: PCN65: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Freeman-Pneumatic-1-1-4-in-x-2-1-2-in-15-Degree-Coil-Siding-Nailer-PCN65/202072458

Are these nails satisfactory to use for securing vinyl tile underlayment plywood?

I don't see any reason why these nails wouldn't work for this application. Please let us know of you have any other questions.

These nails worked perfectly every time. I also bought the Freeman 15 degree siding nailer at very reasonable price compared to the other brands out there. About half the cost of the bigger name brands. Only a few snafu's of the nail getting stuck when I first loaded the nails into the nailer. Other than that, a very good option if you want to finish putting up pickets on a fence much faster than using a hammer and nails.

No idea why these size nails are not available in stores. These work great for sheds or garage siding as no rain screen in required.

Wouldn't use again. Weak material bends frequently and the time wasted isn't worth the cost savings from a better brand.
