      A:  The sleeve is separated, I have two 8 foot sections of PVC for each side. There is a little "mini" sleeve on the outer portions so I slide the PVC into those and wedge it up against the framing of the garage to secure the outer parts a bit more. The middle is the main entry/exit to the garage for me!
