The range is what I wanted. Oven works well. Reason for the 3 stars is the safety feature of a spring loaded button in the middle of the burner coil. It is very strong and will not allow a light weight pry pan sit flat, even when trying to cook onion, an egg or a burger. If I would have known this before I would have bought something else, probably the glass top. So to solve the problem I needed to spend money on heavier pans.

Have had this for two days. Now I see that I will have to buy all new cookware as the pan does not sit level on the burner unit. Frigidaire should put a warning in the description so you know you have to cook an egg or a burger on a slant. I would like to know if there is a spring adjustment? If not can I order coils that do NOT have this item, may be cheaper than buying new cookware.

I wanted a white range had to take black because the store didn't have much of a selection which they said was due to manufacturers being behind in production. The oven is too big for my purposes and I lost a lot of storage space in the drawer so I had to get rid of over half of the baking dished and pans stored there. In order to cook with my pans on the range top, I have to prop the hands up with a cup to get them to lay flat so the burners will work. I didn't buy a new range because I wanted one, I bought one because my 40 year old range died.

My previous stove had to be replaced after 21 years of use so I had high expectations and this stove has met or exceeded them all! Not only does it have a very modern look, but it works well and the added safety features on the burners are great! The oven door is clear and the food inside can be clearly seen, saving on cook time since I do not have to open the door to see the cooking progress. After waiting three month to get this from back stock, they finely called and got it to me right away.
