I am replacing an old cooktop. My hole cutout is big enough for this 30" model but I only have a 3 inch depth clearance. There is airspace below the 3" but it is in a drawer. The specs say the product height is 2.63". Will this fit?
Hello there! According to the installation instructions, the recommended depth below the cooktop is 5 in (12.7 cm). Note that you should allow 2" (5 cm) space below the cooktop to clear the electric cable and allow for the installation of the junction box on the wall at the back of the cooktop. The knob that controls this element will be marked so that you will know which size you are turning on.
