Taking accurate measurements in your home is critical when purchasing a new refrigerator. Here are step by step instructions on how to do it correctly.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- Water connection kit required
- 110V-grounded, 3-prong electrical outlet
- Water valve (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Measure the delivery path and new appliance area to make sure that your refrigerator will fit perfectly
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty & unplug your old refrigerator

AnswersYes, if given some back ventilation, it can be used under-counter. There is not adequate room beneath the unit to get adequate air flow for full cooling unless the unit also has room in the back for some air movement.

AnswersYes, the cooling vents are on the back. It should probably be moved from time to time because lint and debris will accumulate on the carpet under the unit and may be hard to clean if left standing very long. There are adjustable legs on the front side, but the back side sits directly on the floor.
Can 12oz cans stand up straight and are both zones able to get to 41 degrees?

AnswersSince the shelves are made for wine bottles & not solid, you're better off laying 12 oz cans on their side. Upper zone can hit 41, lower zone cannot - lower zone drops to 54. Cheers!

AnswersThe manual that comes with it says that it is a standalone unit and needs several inches of clearance around it. However, we installed ours under a counter with about 1-1/2 inches of clearance around the sides and top and it has worked fine, no problems at all, for three years now.

AnswersYes, and they are removable. With some slightly larger bottles, you will have to remove shelves because the distance between the shelves will not accommodate the slightly larger bottles. Expect that, with many wine bottles, you will need to remove some shelves.

We bought this to replace a previous wine cooler from another manufacturer that was getting very tired. We watched our wines gently warm as time went on. The idea was to place this between two base cabinets under a counter. This Frigidaire was a perfect fit and appears to be "built in". The unit runs quietly and does a great job of keeping our reds at 55 and our whites at 45 -- exactly what we had hoped for. I look forward to a lasting relationship with this unit! I absolutely love my wine cooler!! It’s spacious and very pleasing to the eye. The dual temperature adjusting makes it easy to store my reds and whites at the right setting. We installed this in a bar in our living room. It looks like a high-end, expensive unit. It keeps the wine at the correct temperature.
The wood shelves are a nice touch, however they do impede some bigger (champagne style) bottoms from fitting on certain shelves. It makes some low decibel operating noises that, because they are right in the living room, we tend to notice when reading or conversing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Looks good, easy to install, looking forward to better usability than the Vinotemp VT-60 it's replacing. Easy to set up with just a tape measure and a small torpedo level (had to use pliers to loosen one adjuster but no biggie). Took longer to remove packing material than to install! Shelves aren't ultra high tech but do work better and hold more than the wire racks in the previous unit; right-angle power plug is a nice touch. This unit doesn't have snazzy blue-light illumination but it looks great in my wine bar. (PS: Price is lower now than what I paid, get one while you can!)

The temperature will never get less than 50 degrees in a room at 70 degrees with the door not opened for 24 hours. I bought this as a printer stand so it works for me. It looks nice, but will not keep wine cold.

Reversable Door issue

We tried to reverse the door. The issue is the screw that was on the bottom of the door on the right side that needs to be screwed into the bottom of the door on the left side, will NOT screw into the hole.

We installed the can cooler and matching wine cooler as part of a kitchen remodel. Love them both. They look great and function well. The hinge side of the door can be swapped, so you can have the door open in either direction. We adjusted ours so that the doors open in the middle. One of the fridges makes a quiet gurgling sound, but it doesn't bother us in any way.
