I would say about 3 lbs. I hope that answers your question.
If the room temperature is 80F, then air coming out of A/C unit is about 60F. When room temperature drops to 78F, the air coming out the unit will be about 58F, and so on. If you set the dial quite high like 7, or 6, then the compressor unit will probably stay on all day. (always trying to cool more) If you set the dial to about (say) 3, then the unit will switch the compressor off (stop trying to cool more) when the air coming out the unit is at about (say) 55F (room temp 75F). Then the room temperature will stay at about 75F, while the compressor sometimes runs and sometimes rests, keeping the temp at 75F. If you want it a bit cooler, move the dial to 4.
Jacob, that tells me nothing about where this one on particular was made.

No; there is no front door. The filter slides in through the side and it makes zero noise.
Hi, I added a 2 year extended warranty at the time of purchase for only $22.50.
I found this AC to be the loudest AC I have ever owned and I’ve had a few, I returned it because it sounded like a helicopter when it cycles on, and that was over my sound bar, I can take a certain amount of AC noise but this was truly one of the worst I have ever heard.
It’s for a window AC unit.
Yes, both sides.
