This video will walk you through the simple steps you must take in order to ensure a successful delivery and installation of your new Dishwasher from The Home Depot.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- New dishwasher connection kit
- Water supply line (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Electrical outlet within 6 ft. of hook up
- The rough cabinet opening must be at least: 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H
- Measure your rough cabinet opening
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty and unplug your old dishwasher

AnswersIt does have the option to heat dry but you have to push it before you start any cycle. If not they will just sit, I usually just open the dishwasher and let them air dry, I see them drying better that way.

AnswersI hate this model. You never know if the dishes are washed because as soon as the door is opened the clean light goes away for good and the start light blinks so you have to let it wash again.
Can you simply remove the power cord from back of existing machine and attache to the new one?

AnswersIf your existing cord is a 3 prong 110v cord, then yes you can. Re-using an old cord is not advisable though as the insulation can degrade over time. If the existing cord is 10 years old, imaging that it will be 20 years old before you replace this new dishwasher. So, even if it looks good now, what about in 5-10 years from now?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new dishwasher cleans like a champ. However, after less than 2 uses the rollers on the top track started getting stuck. After investigating i saw they were plastic, inside a metal track. The metal is eating the plastic any time I move the top rack in or out. Does not roll at all, but rather grinds. Very difficult to open and requires a lot of force. Poor design

I love the feature that you can have it start up to four hours later. You can load the washer set the delayed start and walk away! It also has eco settings to use less water. From the beginning, there was already soap left on the inside of the door. After less than a few months, every drop of soap spills on the door after the wash is completed. The result is grease on the inside of the dishes and soap on the outside. I'm back to handwashing my dishes and use it as a dishrack. Not happy at all.

Your documentation says Quiet, personally I disagree, if my husband is sitting 15 feet away and can hear it running it isn't quiet. He couldn't hear the Kenmore we replaced. Now it is true that the dishwasher is empty so we'll see how "Quiet" it is with dishes in it.
How do you get the bits of blue film off of the front of the dishwasher after the installer removed the majority of it? The bits showing below the control panel just look messy. Image attached.
I will post another review once I have used the unit a few times.
