About This Product

Get excited about cooking with this Frigidaire Gallery 30 in. Induction Modular Cooktop in Black with Four Burners including Bridge Burner. It's designed to make cleaning up spills and splatters much easier. It also includes the TempLock technology. This maintains an even temperature while the cooktop is in use. Added features include the induction bridge burner, which lets you connect two elements to create a larger cooking surface. You'll want to utilize this feature when cooking with a griddle or large pan. Also, the induction design is a favorite for some because it only heats the pan and the food inside, keeping the other areas around the pan cool to the touch.

Highlights

  • Unlike traditional electric and gas cooktops, induction cooktops only heat the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler, allowing you to clean up spills and splatters while you cook
  • With induction cooktops, heat transfers directly to the cookware bypassing the cooktop surface, making induction incredibly fast
  • Most cookware is induction-friendly
  • Bridge burner is perfect for griddles and large pans
  • Induction cooktop only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler
  • Frigidaire Fit Promise - We promise that your new 30 in. or 36 in. Frigidaire Gallery brand cooktop will fit your existing countertop cutout of the same width and configuration, or we will reimburse you for modification costs up to $100
  • Get to mealtime easier with auto pot detection that lights up cooktop controls for the element a pan is placed on when the cooktop is on
  • Use less energy while you cook with energy-efficient induction technology which heats the pan directly so less heat loss in the cooking process
  • Sensors in the induction cooktop automatically adjust the power level to maintain a consistent temperature the entire time you cook - it's like cruise control for your cooktop
  • Most stainless steel and cast iron cookware is compatible with induction burners. An easy rule of thumb: if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the cookware, it's induction-friendly
  • Approved Over Frigidaire Electric Wall Ovens - Cooktops are approved for installation above any of our single electric wall ovens

Questions & Answers

What specific single convection ovens can be installed below this specific 30” Induction cooktop? I have a 28.5-30.5” cut out between my existing cabinets. Thank you for your assistance.

Answer This Question

Hi Pickled, thank you for reaching out. Thank you for your question. The GCCI3067AB 30" induction cooktop can be installed above select Frigidaire 30" single electric wall ovens when installed according to the installation instructions. Compatible options include models such as GCWS3067AF, GCWS2767AF, PCWS3080AF, and PCWS2780AF, provided the required clearances and cutout dimensions are met. Since your available cabinet opening is 28.5"–30.5", we also recommend verifying that your cabinet and cutout dimensions match the wall oven's installation requirements before purchase. — Reed

    Watts per element?
    ByJun 2, 2026
    1 Answer |
    Answer This Question

Hi there, Doane! The Frigidaire 36" Gallery induction cooktop with 5 elements and a bridge zone. The installation/spec manuals for this class of unit generally do not list a single fixed wattage per burner, because induction power is distributed and shared across modules. There is no single fixed “watts per element” number, but the manual’s design spec is: - 2.3 kW to 3.6 kW per major burner (boost-capable) - 7.4 kW total system limit shared across all 5 zones + bridge - Maico

What is the size of the induction coils? Not the "zone" or paint on top of the glass but the electric induction coil itself. Thanks

      Answer This Question

Hello Jimzz, Frigidaire’s installation/technical documentation for the Frigidaire Gallery 36" induction modular cooktop (5-element with bridge/griddle function) does not publish a physical “induction coil diameter” specification for each burner. - The cooktop is divided into induction “elements/zones” (including the bridge element) - Each element has a rated power output (watts) and a defined sensing zone on the glass surface - The internal induction coils are described only in functional terms (induction windings beneath each element), not by exact coil dimensions Typical for this 36" Gallery induction layout: - Small element: ~6–7 in pan range - Medium elements: ~7–10 in range - Large / bridge zone: ~10–12+ in or griddle coverage There is no official Frigidaire-manual-listed measurement of the actual induction coil diameter, because: - It is an internal electromagnetic assembly - Frigidaire defines performance by zones and pan compatibility, not coil geometry - Maico

        Answer This Question

Thank you for reaching out, Bonnie. Yes — this model has built-in overheat and safety shut-off protections, though they work through temperature sensors and automatic power adjustments rather than a simple “overheat cutoff switch.” ~Ruth

One of the burner is not coming on it is showing the letter e when I push the on button
          ByMar 4, 2026
          1 Answer |
          Answer This Question

Hi there! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. For your Frigidaire induction cooktop model GCCI3667AB, the letter “E” on the display typically indicates that the cooktop is not detecting the cookware properly. This can happen if the pan is not induction-compatible, too small, or not centered on the cooking zone. We recommend ensuring the cookware is magnetic (such as cast iron or compatible stainless steel), placed flat and centered on the burner, and that the cooktop surface and pan bottom are clean and dry. You may also try turning the unit off and back on to reset the control. — Reed

How does this regulate output at low power settings? Some toggle full power on/off so average is low but heat isn't even. Better units can reduce power and heat is even. Wondering how this one does it.

            1 Answer |
            Answer This Question

Hi SoFl! Thank you for reaching out. For the Frigidaire Gallery GCCI3667AB induction cooktop, the unit is designed to provide more consistent and even heat at lower power settings. This model features TempLock™ technology, which uses sensors in the cooktop to monitor and adjust the power automatically in order to maintain a steady temperature while you cook. Instead of relying only on full-power on-and-off cycling to achieve lower heat levels, the cooktop helps regulate the output to keep temperatures more stable, similar to a cruise-control effect. This allows for more even simmering and better control during delicate cooking tasks. - Reed

                Answer This Question

Hi there! Thank you for checking with us. Yes, a ventilation hood is strongly recommended for the Frigidaire GCCI3067AB induction cooktop, even though induction technology produces less ambient heat than gas or conventional electric stoves. - Patrick

                  Induction Cooktop - 30"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first induction cooktop, but not our first Frigidaire Gallery cooktop. The first lasted 19+ years and still worked great; we just wanted to switch to induction. The cooktop is really easy to use, the learning curve is fast, because the cooktop is so easy to use. There's a slight buzz when a burner is on PowerBurst, but you don't have PowerBurst on for very long, so it's not an issue.

                    Intro to induction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frigidaire GCCI3067AB is our first induction cooktop, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade from our old coil electric model. It heats incredibly fast, responds instantly to temperature changes, and runs much quieter than we expected. The power‑boost feature has already become a favorite for getting water boiling in no time. The controls are simple to use, and the built‑in safety features—like pan detection and automatic shutoff—add real peace of mind. Cleanup is also a huge improvement; spills don’t burn onto the surface, so a quick wipe is usually all it takes. We’re still learning the nuances of induction, but this cooktop has made the transition easy. Overall, it has noticeably improved our everyday cooking speed, efficiency, and convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is easy to clean and heats up fast. I like that it is shallow enough that I can put a drawer underneath the cooktop to to keep my utensils handy. I’ve only used it a month, so I am still learning how to adjust the controls to get the amount of heat I want.

I am disappointed and concerned with the quality of this cooktop. my mom had a bosch induction cooktop for the last ten years and I like it so I got one. Before we ever got to use it, it cracked and we can’t even guess why. We have to get the same one bc the countertop cut out is sized for this. here’s hoping it doesn’t happen again.

                          30" Induction Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, it looks great in our kitchen space. This is our first induction cooktop and there is a learning curve with it. Many of our beloved pots didn't work with induction. We've had the stovetop for 3 weeks and use it almost daily. I love that it heats up quickly (it boils a big pot of water in under 2 minutes!) and cuts down on cooking time. The burners will turn itself off if the pan is removed from the burner for more than 5 seconds. After use, the burner cools down really fast. Over all, we're pretty happy with it. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the stovetop has turned itself off in the middle of cooking and I have yet to figure out why that happens.

                            Disappointed
I was really excited to get this cook top- nice options for burners, fit in my space and had the look I wanted. My disappointment lies in the fact that the heating elements don’t come close to covering the outlines rings in the cook top surface. You will be hard pressed to get anything to boil outside the 6 inch inner circle. It has very uneven cooking and I feel pretty cheated.

                              Waste of money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely useless cooktop. We had this model installed by our builder and by now cooktop has ruined most of our cookware. On top of this the cooktop automatically lowers drawing if current, this prevents cooking things like roti or even toasting many pieces if bread on skillets. On reporting this it was called as safety feature which is clearly wrong as all other cooktops in the world do not do this. Don’t waste your money on this cooktop

Figure 8 error in installation manual
Figure 8 in the installation manual is not correct. The retainer brackets are too long for the bottom of the cooktop to sit on the bracket. Instead there is a 1/2 inch gap. To be safe I added brackets to support the bottom of the cooktop.
