        A:  I wouldn't use it for that purpose. Its not wide enough or thick enough. I used it for under doors and gaps in any frame work. It is super sticky so that is good news.

            Q:If you use this as cushioning under a steering wheel leather wrap, will it disintegrate under the leather? How long will it last? Will it leave a residue that you cannot remove should you decide to take it off the steering wheel?

            A:  We have never tested this foam as a cushion under leather since it is an insulating product for your home. We do not have data on disintegrating under leather. Goof-Off or Goo-Gone are good for removing residue except on pvc products like steering wheels.
