Exactly what we were looking for.
it worked perfectly. We bought this one because it was the closest to the old one we had. You can see light through it, but it doesn't bother us.

Good value.
Fits properly, but from the inside you can see light. Checked outside and fits properly (tight and no more air draft leaking inside) Overall good quality.

hinge side gasket
The magnetic part of the gasket was not a problem. The hinge side of the gasket is very questionable. The slot in the mounting was deep enough, but the gasket portion of the hinge side gasket was falling out of the slot even before I was able to install it. I ended up returning to Home Depot and buying a new gasket that would stay in the slot and press against the door. The slot was deep enough for the new gasket.

I bought this because there was a noticeable gap along the latch end of my front-entry steel door, it faces the sun - and you could see sunlight. Plus, when the wind was blowing in the winter - you could feel the cold air blowing in. The magnetic seal wasn't clinging to the door at all. I assumed it was because the flexible membrane had gotten stiff over time. This item was supposed to be an exact replacement; however, it was TOO exact - in fact, the membrane was just as stiff as my original - consequently, it didn't cling to the door either. See photo. Switched to a vinyl clad, foam style seal, and no more light or cold air! Cheaper too!

The kerf weather strips fit into the slots easily and...
The kerf weather strips fit into the slots easily and are very easy to remove once you visualize how the system works. The product seems to stick via the magnets (fits very tight to the door) well except in one corner wider gap I see light, but it is sealed (just white seal+sun=??).

Magnetic door seal replacement kit
This replacement kit was used to replace the original door seal in my (condo) front door. The old door seal (original one) had a very robust magnet in the seal. The magnet was considerably thicker than what was in the replacement seal (which did not stick to the door as strongly). Otherwise I would have rated it "5 stars". The vinyl was noticeably thinner as well (This seems to be the basic philosophy in America today -- "make it cheaper than the last one"). There are some of us customers that would pay for higher quality where its needed (i.e. front door seals). I searched high and low and Home Depot was the only store around that had a replacement magnetic door seal (and only online).

The white lets light through, making it hard to tell if it's actually sealing
Perfect replacement. Comes a couple inches long so trimming was necessary.
The white lets light through. Between the magnet and the kerf. I was going to rip it off and take it back to Home Depot for a refund, thinking it wasn't sealing, but last second realized that's what was going on; it's translucent.
Will be tough to tell when this one goes bad over time as it already lets light through. Also looks weird if in a non super lit up place.
Will buy beige or whatever they have in the store next time.
Also, could buy 4 sets of the non-magnetic stuff for the cost. Maybe try that next time.

Easy to install.
The hardest part was removing the little nails used to hold in the old seal. A tiny pair of long nosed pliers did the trick. Then all I had to do was push it in with my fingers and cut it off with a pair of scissors.
