How do you remove the sticky tape when removing film at years end ?

Sorry. I'm at the beginning, myself. The sticky tape went on a painted/coated metal surface so I'm not to worried about it. If I were desperate, I know I could saturate the stuff with WD-40, and it would give in. Amazing, that fish oil!

1. No, the film is highly transparent. Take care to get it as smooth as possible when you position it, then a dryer on the "high" setting will remove any small wrinkles. 2. Yes, it can be removed, but the heat will only shrink the film once -- not a second time.

Will this product eliminate condensation on aluminum window frames?

I have not used it on aluminum windows. My experience has been on wood. Not sure the tape is conducive to metal/aluminum frame.

This product was 1/2" too short to stretch from the top of the window to the window sill. Fortunately, this being my first time to use it, I started with a window that is shuttered at the bottom and has a valance at the top, so when I trimmed the excess from the sides, I used some of that to cover the little bit of exposed tape at the top, and then I used ordinary invisible tape to tape some of the excess from the sides to the bottom of the plastic so that it would reach to the tape on the bottom sill. Then I shut the shutter, so no one will see that I had to patch it at the bottom. Stretching from side to side, there were almost no wrinkles at all, so I barely had to use the hairdryer at all!

Really does a great job with keeping the cold out and the warmth in. Also magnifies the sun coming through the windows, so it is extra warm on a sunny day- great in the winter! Don't follow the instructions, though. Start from a corner and work horizontally and vertically at the same time, pulling the plastic really tight as you go.

After 1 week of it being up on all of our windows, every window except one started coming apart at the tape. The double sided tape they give you clearly lasts about 1 week. I would say do plastic on the outside of your windows instead, because this crap isn't worth it.

Works good! Wish I had thought to get it sooner. Saved money this past month and that was during the coldest part of the winter. Would highly recommend it!
