Exactly what we were expecting. I just wanted a small, cheap desk for my 1st grader to use for his laptop and worksheets and this is absolutely perfect. He uses a countertop height chair with it, and it's perfect. (An adult would be fine with a regular computer chair.)
My 11 year old built the desk according to the directions, which was easy, although it is meant to be in the center of the room, not against the wall, which we didn't realize until he was done, but since this is in a corner, we didn't feel the need to rebuild it to have the pieces facing the proper way.
Overall, great little piece for what we needed it for.

I used this as a computer tower stand and it turned out better than expected. I had my computer custom built for gaming and the height allows me to look inside the computer with all the lights and colors. Couldn't have worked out better.
