This book case was easy to put together , and quite sturdy as well. i know that it is supposed to be used for books but i got this as a storage unit for my sewing table. it fits well , laid on its side and holds a variety of items so they are handy for me to use when i need them and keeps them out of the way when i do not need them . I have included a pic to show the versatility of this product .

I would recommend this open shelf bookcase. I for sure find it to be more sturdy then other shelves I have put together. Easy and clear directions. The colors are bright and they add a nice pop of color to my room. The screws that you put in are nice and long, so they really hold the boards together. It is made of E1 Particle Board. Just wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Very sturdy and built to last. I am happy with this product and I feel that with the added long screws it really gives this Bookcase the strength to hold up.

Cute shelf and it is easy to assemble. The colors are white and green and as you assemble, you can choose to have the green on the outside or inside of the shelf. The openings are a little too small for cubbies/bins so take note of size before ordering. The inside opening is a little less than 10 (tall) X 9(deep). Overall, it should fit for a little girls room to display small books or toys. It is made of E1 particle board and it did not have a smell when I took it from the box.
