Hello, for under metal, we would recommend GAF Tiger Paw or Deck-Armor Underlayment. Also, GAF StormGuard Leak Barrier, which is a peel and stick underlayment, can be used under metal. Thank you!

Can you install this on a 3/12 roof under asphalt shingles?
Yes, you can install Tiger Paw™ Synthetic Underlayment on a 3/12 roof pitch under asphalt shingles, but the installation method is different than on a standard steep roof. On a 3/12 slope (which is considered a "low slope" between 2/12 and 4:12), GAF and most building codes require double coverage to prevent leaks from wind-driven rain or ice dams
