Answer

Hello, thank you for your question, QuickStart is used a starter strip with typical 3-tab shingles and laminate shingles, while WeatherBlocker can be used with all shingles, including larger designer shingles. For further information, please contact our technical team on 1-877-ROOF-411.

How much will i need for 1800 sq ft.

Answer

Hello, thank you for your question. WeatherBlocker covers 100-lineal feet per bundle when being installed with Timberline shingles. When being installed with designer shingles, it will typically covere 50-lineal feet per bundle. The amount of starter strip needed for your job depends on the lineal feet you have at your eaves and rake edges. This will determine the total lineal feet of starters strip needed for your job. It is not related to the total area of your roof. For further help, please give our technical team a call at 1-800-ROOF-411. Thank you

Answer

Hello, thanks for your question. Depending on which shingle you're using this product with, coverage can vary. That being said, when it's used with typical laminate shingles like Timberline HD or Natural Shadow, coverage would be 100' per bundle. If it's being used with designer shingles, such as Camelot II, coverage would be 50' per bundle. Please give our technical team a call at 1-800-ROOF-411 for more information. Thank you.

Very happy with this purchase. The shingles were just what I wanted. When you order them, I recommend having them delivered to your local store. The package is heavy so it must be delivered by a trucking company which can be less convenient than if delivered by UPS or FedEx.
