Solar Coach Lantern 1-Light Black Solar Outdoor Wall Sconce with Warm White Edison Bulb

This is a very nice looking solar lantern light that I would consider more of an accent piece. Would have given it 5 stars but it doesn’t light up that bright. Even though it has 2 light settings even on the highest setting I was expecting more-maybe because it has a warm white Edison bulb. I hung this on the side of my shed that needs nighttime illumination but I realize now it is exactly what it says it is....a sconce. Very attractive and decorative. Guess I was looking more for a bright light where this is more of a subtle lantern. But it is very good quality, easy to install with the plate and it charged up very quickly in the sun.

Looks really nice. I hope it will hold up to the elements in Michigan well. Time will tell. Seems easy to install. Great idea. I needed a light by my back door where there is no existing power. Seems to be the perfect solution. Pro tip. Since it's a solar light, install the light bulb at least once before you mount it on the wall. Just to test it out.

I love solar lighting. I have it in my gardens, and along side my driveway. I have a fenced in yard and one side of my property is always dark and I wanted to address it. This light solved my dilemma and it took me all of five minutes to install. The base came with two screws and anchors. I easily drilled into a wooden post, screwed in the mounting plate. I left the solar top out in a sunny area for just one day, selected the low light choice ( has a high choice too). Slid the solar top onto the base, screwed in the included Bulb, then the glass cover and waited til dark. Light came on as designed, and gives a nice protective light on this previously dark side of my property.

GAMA SONIC Solar Coach Lantern 1-Light Black Solar Outdoor Wall Lantern Sconce with Warm White Edison Bulb It is my first time with this GAMA SONIC solar lantern. It looks attractive but not very bright solar light at night. It has nice orange solar light on the Edison bulb. It is very easy to install and put it on sun room post. It looks pretty to look at day & pretty at night. It is for decoration with warm white solar light.

Talk about simple! I used this above my service garage door which does not have power. This light provides nice illumination and added security to any location. The mounting plate comes with 2- drywall anchors and threaded screws for attaching to various surfaces. The fixtures itself slides over the mounting plate and secures in place. Aesthetically it looks amazing and would highly recommend.

Gama Sonic Solar lamps are so good the reviews practically write themselves. This is my 5th Gama Sonic Solar in about the last 5 years and all of them are burning brightly. I expect this one to perform as well. It is easily installed by screwing (screws included) a bracket to any flat mounting surface and sliding the lamp assembly into place. There was minimal assembly, simply screw the special Gama Sonic light bulb into the socket, being careful not to touch the glass part with your fingers. All my Gama Sonic Solar Lamps are good looking and they burn brightly for years. Even on cloudy days they can be depended on to burn during the ensuing night. They continue to amaze me. I didn't see them in stock the last time I shopped my local Home Depot store. Maybe they have them by you. If not, order them, because I can not recommend them more highly. Looking at the enclosed pictures made me realize that this would be excellent on the side of an RV. You could attach the bracket and mount the lamp on there when you set-up camp. It even has an easily accessible switch for a brighter, potentially shorter burning time or you could turn it off like any other porch light, at, "lights out".

This GAMA SONIC coach lantern model: 1BE40010 is built to last. First I will give you the basic need to know information. 1. The light bulb is a T-45 LED bulb model: T45WW10W. GAMA SONIC filament bulb: T45-10W-4. It is a 2400k (warm white)-3 volt solar bulb that is 60 lumens & it is not for use on 120v AC lamps. GAMA SONIC light bulbs are not to be used in other electrical sockets. These are low-voltage light bulbs that are built & designed for GAMA SONIC products only. DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB WITH FINGERS - IF YOU DO, CLEAN THE BULB TO REMOVE THE OILS LEFT BY YOUR SKIN BEFORE TURNING ON THE LIGHT! 2. The battery is a 3.2v/1500 mAh Li-Ion battery pack. 3. It has a 1 watt mono crystalline solar panel. 4. It measures 5 1/2 inches wide, 7 inches deep & 7 1/2 inches long. 5. The instructions are easy to read/understand & installation is easy.       Now for the actual unit & it's parts. The main body & battery cover is cast aluminum with a black finish & is built solid. It has a glass lens with aluminum on the top, bottom & sides & it screws on/off. It also has 2 screws for glass replacement if ever needed. The power switch is a LOW/OFF/HI & is labeled  L  OFF  H. The solar panel is protected with a clear plastic disc.  This is all weather resistant & it looks awesome. The bulb looks really nice at night on both settings.  The wall mount is plastic. There is very little play when the fixture body is attached to the wall mount & it secures nicely. It would be nice if the wall plate was cast aluminum but the plastic wall mount does what is supposed to & has been molded to be strong & last. This would look great in many areas around the home like on a deck, shed, the house, near a fire pit, on a fence or post near or in the garden, etc.  I installed this on my shed (see pictures) & it looks great. This is more of a decorative lantern with low light that is great for relaxing. I placed it on our shed because we will be creating a bee, butterfly & hummingbird garden & this will light up our sunflowers & other tall plants nicely when it gets dark. We will be putting 4 - 6 posts around the perimeter of our fire pit  this summer & 4 - 6 of them will light up the area nicely & without blinding us during family gatherings. The low ambient light will also be nice for kicking back on a deck or patio without dealing with bright lights.  Overall I rate this 5 stars. Quality of materials - 5 stars, it's built to last. This is an item I would buy & I do recommended it. 

I have a few different solar lights from Gama Sonic. They are very well made. The housing and solar panels are solid. The LED's are bright and the batteries have lasted for years. This light has a slight slant to it's solar panel to collect more sunlight and to allow rain to more easily roll off. Edison bulb is attractive and specifically made for this light. High or low setting. Mostly metal and glass, very little plastic. Doesn't fade.

Handsome solution for a practical need to illuminate areas where an electric source is unavailable. Unit is fully assembled requiring only inserting the included bulb and drilling two small holes for the mounting plate in the surface of the desired location. The light assembly is then simply slid unto the mounting plate and also easily removed for cleaning etc. Unlike most solar powered systems this one has a replaceable LED bulb and rechargeable battery pack should they ever fail but know that these two items are of a proprietary design that can only be acquired from certain sources. The illumination is useful but be aware that this type of bulb, although more attractive, does not have the intensity provided by an array of small LEDs typically found with other solar powered systems. I have installed mine in an area in the rear of the house that doesn't receive any light from the other various outdoor lights on the property.
