Will this extension UXDC53SJSS extend to 12 ft. with the GE 36" Range Hood JVW5361SJSS?

Will this work with the 36" range hood to go up to 12'?

I have a vaulted ceiling. Can this be cut down or is there a special order option?

We do not have a special kit for vaulted ceilings and we would not recommend cutting the extension cover as there would be sharp edges. We have also not tested or approved the ducting under those types of conditions. We would recommend reaching out to a contractor for assistance with having this installed with your vaulted ceilings. Will this work with 9ft ceilings? Is it telescoping/adjustable?

In your vent hood's Owner's Manual there should be a table that lets you know the ceiling heights that can be reached with and without the extra duct cover kit.
