Hello miffed! Thanks for your question. Counter-depth refrigerators are less deep and sit closer to your cabinets. While they are not completely flush to your cabinets like a built-in model, these models help provide a more built-in appearance at less cost than a built-in model. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us at our contact page. Stay safe! Emily@GEA
Hi Jan, thanks for contacting us. Your refrigerator will still work without a water line, just not your water/ice dispenser. We just recommend you switch your ice maker to the OFF position. If you have any other questions, you can e-mail us using the Contact Us page on our website and a member of our team will be happy to help. We're wishing you the best! - Guy@GEA
Hey Gigi, we're happy to help. Yes, an icemaker is included in the purchase of this refrigerator. We hope this is the answer you were hoping to see! - Guy@GEA
Hello Slatelove! Thanks for your question. We found that this refrigerator's water filter is part number XWFE. We hope this helps. Emily@GEA
Not sure if there is a model with no water dispenser, but it's probably ok to buy this one and not hook up the water dispenser and ice maker? Installing a water line was some work, and the "install" included does not include the waterline.
Hi Dee! Thanks for reaching out! We'd love to help. There are two articles on our website that we think will be helpful for the buzzing noise you're hearing. One is titled "REFRIGERATOR BUZZING NOISE" and the other is named "REFRIGERATOR - NORMAL SOUNDS AND NOISES MADE." - As for the compressor run time, newer refrigerators have compressors that are designed to run 80% to 90% of the time. This makes them more energy efficient because the greatest amount of energy is used when the compressor cycles on as opposed to when the compressor is actually running. We hope this is helpful! Stay safe. -Michael@GEA
Jessica, you would need about 4 inches of space between the refrigerator and the wall on the right side to open the right door to 90 degrees. At 90 degrees you can open the veggie and meat drawers On the Home Depot web page for this refrigerator- in the "search questions & answers" section just above the first question you will see a search block- Search Wall Door or door open 90 degrees and you will find similar questions and more answers to your concern. .
Hi Gabriel - Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, you can remove the icemaker and continue to utilize the internal water dispenser. This would not involve turning off the water supply to the icemaker. The refrigerator uses a dual water valve. If the icemaker has been removed, the icemaker side of the valve won't be activated to bring the water in. We hope this helps! Vikki@GEA
Greetings JoeTomatoes, Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to help. This refrigerator requires a clearance of at least 1/8 inch on each side. You can get a view of the dimensions and clearances required here: https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/e1/e1f106a4-a852-4450-96eb-996696d1a762.pdf. We hope this helps. Mike@GEA
