We only want the water to come out of the hose---not to go into container. What is the solution???
Yes, you can use a garden hose to drain continuously into a drain or anywhere you wish. Just be sure that the hose gasket washer is in good condition and keep the hose lower than the drain port height of the dehumidifier.
Hi Mary - Thanks for considering GE! Yes, you can manually empty the tank. When the bucket it full, simply remove the bucket and dump out the water in a sink. The unit will automatically shut off when the bucket is removed. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com! Sue
Yes, it shuts off and gives you a visual warning
Yes.
Yeah, "California's Proposition 65 Warning" is on practically everything (They'd put this sticker on the air and sun if they could.) In other words, It doesn't mean jack.
That should be answered on the name plate where it gives the model number
Not loud compared to others I've owned.
Sure.
I am 98 years old and have no difficulty emptying it. And, yes, I really AM 98 years old -- in good health.
