Questions & Answers
After 3 years, the product works sporadically. At times, the cycle begins, and then about half way through, it stops. Other times, it doesn?t begin at all; I can hear the washer trying to begin, but then it doesn?t start. Other times it says H2O and stops
Any resolution on this? Ours did this too after 2 years.
Same happened to ours. It appears to be a common defect in the units pressure sensor. Repair quote is nearly 40% of what we paid for it.
if it has a food grinder, why does it need a filter that has to be cleaned? can the filter be removed?
Hi! Thanks for reaching out! Yes the filter is removable and can be cleaned. You can see page 17 of your Use and Care manual, here: https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/0c/0c632058-1ac5-47a2-814b-b89bd44fbe41.pdf - The filter is there to stop larger pieces of food from blocking the drainage system. The grinder is there to help even more with stopping the clogging of the drainage system. It will help to grind up smaller pieces of food so that they can be drained away. Hope this helps! This dishwasher has been discontinued so it likely will not be back in stock at Home Depot. I was able to find it at other locations.
What is a tall tub.
Tall tubs are larger than standard size tubs by 3-4 inches. Note the taller door extends into the room further and is lower when in the open position.

These tub interiors are both taller and wider than the standard tub. In addition, the tubs are shallower so they can be installed flush in standard cabinets. This video will walk you through the simple steps you must take in order to ensure a successful delivery and installation of your new Dishwasher from The Home Depot.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- New dishwasher connection kit
- Water supply line (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Electrical outlet within 6 ft. of hook up
- The rough cabinet opening must be at least: 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H
- Measure your rough cabinet opening
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty and unplug your old dishwasher
