Poor quality even for the cheap price.
Unfortunately this unit has a coating on the racks that does not last very long. It falls apart and starts to rust within the first year. I live alone and do not use the dishwasher very much so this lets me know that it does not last long at all. You literally have to clean the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher.

AWFUL
This dishwasher came with our new home and it is absolutely AWFUL! It makes ridiculously LOUD noises. And it never ever dries the dishes even a little bit. A lot of the time I'm washing dishes by hand because I don't want to hear the blaring noises this things makes which defeats having a dishwasher

Great Dishwasher
This replaced a different GE dishwasher. This one has a few more features, works well and is quiet enough. It's much easier to load than our last dishwasher and seems to have more room inside, even though it's the same size.

This product has all the features we needed
This dishwasher was bought for our office...a staff of about 15. The machine is well built, durable and has a lot of nice features. Best of all, when it runs, it's extremely quiet!

Worked Well for 9 years
The product worked well for 9 years until the heating unit died. Install was easier than competition because the water exit is located in the back and it has a hose clamp fitting. Competitor has water input in the front, making it challenging to install with the standard 6 foot hose. The competitor also requires an adapter to connect the clamped hose, thus, extra cost and a trip to the hardware store, GE has a well thought out product.
