Loving my new refrigerator/freezer
I’m loving my new refrigerator/freezer! I love the French style doors. There is so much space in both the fridge and freezer. Plenty of draws and shelves. The water and ice maker are in the door so no shelf room is taken up. Very nice design.

Not enough space and arrived with mfg damage
For a 27.7 cu.ft. seems that the freezer is quiet small. Given that we moved from a 30cu.ft. refrigerator (old LG that didn't work). Didn't think the <3cu.ft. would make that much of a difference. Will need to start looking at a smaller additional freezer.
NOTE: LG refrigerator we had was by far the best one for space, aesthetics, and storage optimization. Although, the key component (compressor) was the weakest link. So, ofcourse we are moving on from LG, for life. So onto GE...
This unit arrived and was installed today. When we started to place all the bins in their places, we noticed that 1. a bin was missing, and 2. the RH door's inside top stop for the bin was pushed in - i.e. there was dent in the inside. This was NOT something that happened in transportation, but looks like a mfg defect.

Beautiful and spacious
After just moving we wanted to upgrade our fridge from a French door side by side to a 3 door, French door with freezer drawer & storage. We are so fortunate to have found this beauty the other weekend, she was on sale and could deliver before the holidays. When I tell you it’s an incredible difference and more spacious it’s an understatement. The lighting is so pretty, I love the water filter and control settings, the top drawer of our freezer, we love all of it. We have a large family and everyone thinks it’s gorgeous and so much more functional for our busy family. With special door and drawer combinations you can literally customize to whatever fits you best. You can’t beat that.

Large and spacious and beautiful
There were two refrigerators I was debating purchasing. It was between this GE fridge and an LG model. Both were the exact same price. There were things I liked better about both. I ended up with this because the sales rep really made it seem like this was the better of the products and it was made in Kentucky (?)(USA). The big advantage to this GE was the 27.7 cu.ft. Which was over a cu.ft. Larger than the other. Those were the pro’s. The cons: the water dispenser looked cheaper. The dispenser is also lower on the fridge than ideal and the bottom piece of the dispenser doesn’t have a water overflow basin piece. There are Always water drops and I don’t like it at all. The biggest con for me (as well as the poorly designed water basin…that all of my guests at Thanksgiving also noticed) is that the doors are pretty difficult to shut. One must use a bit too much force in my opinion and the opinion of others. It has only been a week and those two things are a pain. Such a beautiful fridge though!
