How To Measure For A New Refrigerator
Taking accurate measurements in your home is critical when purchasing a new refrigerator. Here are step by step instructions on how to do it correctly.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- Water connection kit required
- 110V-grounded, 3-prong electrical outlet
- Water valve (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Measure the delivery path and new appliance area to make sure that your refrigerator will fit perfectly
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty & unplug your old refrigerator

Great little refrigerator ,super quiet ....
Great little refrigerator. Very quiet with just a slight hum. Purchased for a one-room granny quarter. Cooled to 40 with no problem, with the freezer cooling to freezing in no time flat. The refrigerator was set to medium on the dial to achieve the temperature I wanted. The freezer section is quite a roomie with the refrigeration space adequate for if I was to have company stay short term. I did purchase a protection plan just for backup purposes. If you don't use it supposedly you get your $$ back. We will see about that. Can't say how it will be in the long term but as of right now It works great and I am very happy with my little mini-fridge. I am glad I choose a familiar brand G.E.

Problem with cans.
I love the fridge and freezer. My problem is the soda can dispenser. Very hard to push them in , you have to ForcevPush hard to pop them in.. and then to get one out is very difficult. .

Perfect size

Works as expected but not a great thing
I would prefer to have more spaces for medium bottles, not only cans. But it does the function necessary.

Soda can dispenser isn't functional
Fridge works great, but the built in soda can dispenser is impossible. When you put all the cans in, they cannot be easily removed. I think they never tried it out after they designed it.

Dual Compressor and Separate Freezer!
After much research, we decided on this GE compact refrigerator with a separate freezer. The bonus was that its compressor is highly rated. It came quickly, in perfect condition, and ready to go. I was surprised to see that there is not a separate control for the freezer. I knew that I would need to defrost the freezer from other reviews, but I did not realize that there was no control. I’m a little worried about the effectiveness of a freezer without temperature control. It’s just a worry, I’ve only just plugged it in! Otherwise it looks great and I’m looking forward to using it in our newly renovated basement.

Beautiful, snow white color
I just had my GE compact fridge set up tonight. I was very impressed by the way it was packed in the box. My box was dented and worn a bit, however, the fridge was in pristine condition, Thank you! I will do another review after some time of use.

Have only had it a few weeks, but it's working...
Have only had it a few weeks, but it's working great. So far, the most notable thing is how quiet it is. We have it in our small one room office and we don't hear it at all. Even when the compressor kicks on. That's a huge plus for us. Well worth the investment.
