Hello BigMama! Thank you for your question. We found that this range uses an electric spark to ignite the gas. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
Hello SLIM, Great question! Thank you for your loyalty to GE Appliances. We're sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your range, but we're glad we can help. The hinges manufactured specifically for your oven door is part WB10X21809. We recommend checking local hardware stores for this model number, or another replacement hinge that would fit your appliance as well. If you are unable to locate the part, please contact us through social media or email so we can provide further assistance. Thank you for choosing GE Appliances. We hope this information helps, and if there are any more questions please reach out to us. Have a wonderful day! -Sylvia@GEA
Hi Trish - Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest in this gas range! While this range is factory set to be connected to natural gas, it also comes with an LP conversion kit to connect to liquid propane. To use propane gas, the regulator and burner orifices must be converted, which must be performed by a qualified propane gas installer. You can learn more about this conversion in the product's Installation Guide as well as on the LP kit instructions attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. We hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
Yes. This stove definitely has a residual gas odor too it after you use it, which I really don’t like.
