When using convection setting do I have to turn it down 25° or does it automatically do that?
No, you do not have to turn down the temperature when using the convection setting. When using the Conventional Bake feature and then switching to Convection Bake, the displayed temperature may drop substantially. This is normal. When Convection Bake is selected, the convection fan turns on and begins circulating the air throughout the oven cavity. As the airflow temperature adjusts, it may take some time for the temperature to stabilize and return to the selected setting.
