32.8 in. 21.3 cu. Ft. Frost Free Defrost Upright Freezer in White

Replaced a 35+ year old freezer by GE that was still working. Wanted temp and temp warning feature.

Purchased April 2021 from HDepot w/GE 1 year warranty. I knew there was a risk in not getting ext. warranty but my goodness literally 2 years to the day I purchase the unit internal fan that circulates cold air is not working and I can't find the part number or where to purchase it anywhere. Top of freezer not cooling. Called GE and they said they would gladly send a repair tech to diagnose problem for only $139 not inc parts & labor. Absurd! Many 1-star reviews have same issues after 2 years.

I’m really happy with this freezer. We replaced a standing freezer that still worked but was 15 years old and was starting to show its age. Here are some specifics I noticed about this freezer: • It is tall at around 77” tall, it is 7” taller than a standard freezer or refrigerator. • The interior of the freezer is vast. It can hold a large amount of food. • There are a couple of shelves that can be adjusted but not by more than a couple of inches each. In other words, there’s not a lot of variation as to the shelf configuration. • The door bins are not adjustable. They aren’t all that large either so, large items will not fit here. • The unit is super quiet. I can barely notice when its running. • The controls are right on the center of the door and are simple to use and understand. • The unit is definitely frost free. I made sure to open the door a lot to see if I could get any build up and there was none. I’m impressed with this aspect of the freezer. • The power consumption rating is very low for a freezer. I’m sure I will see a savings compared to my old unit it replaced. • The lock on the side of the door is simple and it works. • I am also impressed with the seal around the door. It is made of a softer, more supple material than the simple rubber strip that many refrigerators and freezers come with (which crack over time). It seems like it seals very well and looks like it might hold up to the cracking better than rubber or vinyl. • The interior light is not overpowering but it is bright. I also like that it’s an LED which should last much longer and use less power than a bulb. • The delivery folks were professional, on time and had it installed in a tight spot in just a few minutes. Overall, I think this freezer is a good choice for anyone’s storage needs. I think it’s worth the cost as it delivers on what it promises and does so without any bells, whistles or frills. It just works.

I have only had it a couple weeks but it holds everything we had in our old chest freezer. It was a 12 cu ft chest. You lose some space with standup so that is why we bought bigger but this is great for organization and so far it has been awesome! We have a half a cow, half a deer, some chicken, pork, and other boxed items. See the pic

Great freezer. We especially like the ability to adjust the freezer temperature outside the door (previously, with other freezers, we had to rearrange all the food to reach the temperature control).

This is our second freezer from GE that is a stand up 21.3 cubic foot model. Our first one has lasted about 3 years so far, so we are excited about not worrying about the capabilities of this new freezer. Our original 21.3 freezer has metal shelves which are great but wanted to try these sturdy glass shelves and cubbies. Very cool. We will buy a third freezer at another time.

I love how tall this freezer is. Takes up less space. Only had it a couple weeks. So far no complaints.

Easy installation. Arrived in excellent condition. Easy handle installation required. Tools provided minus a Phillips screwdriver. Got cold quickly. No issues this far. It’s huge. Half beef fits no problem. Might hold a whole beef.

I have had this freezer for 1 month now. I am very impressed with the storage capacity and was very please with the delivery and install. I do live in the South, where the summers can be quite brutal in temperature. With that being said, I am looking forward to how this freezer will cool and remain efficient through the summer heat.
