Q:Are the burner caps and sealed burner ports made out of what appears to look and feel like the latest light weight aluminum material all manufactures have turned to, as opposed to the old heaver cast iron used in past years? How bout Grates, thinner too?

Beautiful Stove Top
This is such a gorgeous stove top! I love cooking meals, needless to say the kitchen is my happy place! Not only that but it's so easy to clean up any and all messes I simply take the burners off of the stove top to clean the stainless steel beneath, this is an amazing appliance!

Extremely Dissatisfied
Stove top scratched on day one. Anything scratches it, napkins, paper towels, any pans that grace the surface. I tried cleaning before and after use and it’s already showing stains. I’ve had it for four weeks and it looks like it’s been used for many months. Handles are so cheaply made. First GE product That doesn’t meets standards. Highly disappointed.
