Hi 007 - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE Adora Model # DDT595SSJSS. We are sorry to hear your dishwasher is not drying well and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. While the dishwasher does not have a "dry only" cycle, for best results, select Heated Dry On and Wash Temp Boost or Sani options. Make sure inlet water temperature is at least 120°F. Leave door closed after the Clean light appears to allow the fan to run an additional 90 minutes. If you open the door, this fan extension will be cancelled. Check the rinse agent dispenser and fill as required. Add a high quality rinse agent such as Cascade® Platinum™ Power Dry™ Rinse Aid or Finish® Jet-Dry® Rinse Aid to the rinse agent dispenser. For reference, view page 23 of the Use and Care Guide at the following link (Troubleshooting Tips): https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/df/dfa03011-e743-4357-9f6b-6d9d2c48c1f5.pdf - You can also view tips at this link- DISHWASHER POOR DRYING: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451 - We hope this is helpful. Hi Bernie - Thanks for considering GE Adora! The third rack functions as a utensil drawer for flatware, cooking/serving tools, or other small items. The third rack is easy to remove and carry to your utensil drawer to unload or to allow extra large items to be placed in the upper rack. With the rack fully extended, simply lift the front of the rack so that the rack roller wheels clear the retaining hook. Continue to pull the rack until the remaining rack roller wheels clear the retaining hook. Play Video: https://youtu.be/LUK8CrCLFbs - Keep in touch! Sue
Hi Debbie, If your dishwasher door is not aligned or appears to be crooked, it may be because the door has come off one of its hinges. A misaligned door can cause leaking from around the door. To verify, open the door slightly and check both hinges. To correct: 1) Open door slightly to about a 15 degree angle from the tub. 2) Lift the door and move it back onto both hinges. 3) When the door fits into place, you will hear a loud click. The door should now open and close freely. 4) If the door is not opening and closing smoothly, repeat the steps. If this does not help then you may need to contact service. We hope that this helped! Thank you very much for your question. -Michael

Hi Jocelyn, If you are wanting to clean your control panel, we would recommend that you use a clean, soft, lightly dampened cloth. Make sure that you then dry thoroughly. A little dish soap may be added to the cloth if needed. However, if you find that the start button has become depressed and will not come back up, you may need to see about potentially having the control panel replaced. Should you want to take a look at your warranty, you can see pg. 25 of your Use and Care Manual, here: https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/df/dfa03011-e743-4357-9f6b-6d9d2c48c1f5.pdf - We hope that this helped! Thank you so much for your question. -Michael

Hello YCH. Water settled in the bottom of the dishwasher at the end of the wash cycle is normal. This water helps to keep the pump seal lubricated. Water should not be as high as the front of the center raised island in the bottom of the tub.If there is excessive water in the tub at the end of a cycle, you may have a draining issue and we recommend service. To schedule an appointment, you can reach our scheduling department at 1-800-432-2737, Mon-Fri 7 am – 10 pm ET, Sat-Sun 8 am – 6 pm ET. Thanks for checking. Olga
Hi Ronald - Adora series by GE® Stainless Steel Interior Dishwasher with Hidden Controls DDT595SMJES does not have stainless steel racks. It has black pearl racks that are nylon coated for durability. Thanks for your interest! Sue
Hi Maria - The "Light" cycle is safe for china and crystal with no options selected. For reference and description of the various cycles, see page 7 of the Use and Care Manual at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-55119-2.pdf - China is normally safe to wash in your automatic dishwasher. However, antique, metal trimmed, hand painted china or over-the-glaze patterns are vulnerable to fading with high water temperature and detergent solutions, and therefore should not be washed in a dishwasher. check with the manufacturer of the chinaware, or test wash one piece daily for at least one month for comparison with the rest of the set. Be sure to load the china items securely to prevent movement during the wash cycle. This will help minimize chipping or breaking. See DISHWASHER - WASHING CHINA: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=19593 - Thanks for your interest in GE Adora! Sue
