I purchased this to replace my previous GE dishwasher that was only 4 years old. We had used it without a water softener so I assumed that was what had caused the dishwasher to quit so soon, however after having this dishwasher for only a year I am already having problems. The digital panel has multiple lights out on it and no longer shows how much time is left for dishwasher. I have reached out to GE but they do not have any authorized repairmen in my area. The other problem I have with this dishwasher is how long it takes to wash a load of dishes. Running just a normal wash with no extra features takes almost 4 hours! GE quality has definitely gone downhill from what they used to be. I would definitely look into a different product for the price you pay.

I purchased this & three other GE kitchen appliances on Dec 5th 2018 (see my reviews) & this dishwasher is very quiet & has performed very well. It does a great job cleaning & it is easy to clean. The settings are easy to set/use & have came in handy. The removable sections are great for large pans or when not needed. I am very happy with this dishwasher & my purchase.

This dishwasher worked okay, not great, left residue on the dishes and required prewashing. For how expensive this dishwasher is, I would say it didn’t work well, much better values to be found. 2.5 years of infrequent use, the water pump housing cracked and leaked water into our basement. There is a reason why GE is practically bankrupt. Don’t buy this dishwasher.

All though I am still experimenting, in my opinion this machine is not easy to configure a full load. My old machine needed to run once a week, this machine has so far required 2 runs a week. I don't like the side placement of the silverware basket because you have to pull out the rack to add a fork. Directions for use are online & have to be printed, this is inconvenient & with the price of ink expensive. I wish directions were for only for the model purchased & offer the ability to choose or discard different languages. It is very quiet & once I changed detergent brands it cleaned dishes & pots really well but not all the silverware. Installation was ok & frustrating & needed some online searches.

GE, or shall we say the Chinese company Haier product, is so far down the quality ladder to ever compete as an appliance company again. We bought this dish "holder" 10 months ago and have yet to see a clean dish from it on its own power. My wife has come up with a solution, she washes the dishes thoroughly in the sink first :). Then instead of using a drying rack on the counter, she uses the new GE/Haier DishHolder to send them off for a 3 hour fun-filled water amusement trip. The dishes come out hot and drenched. Gave it a few months for us to "figure it out" and Called Home Depot, but their attitude is sorry we only sell them. If there is a problem you have to call Haier/GE. Long waits and endless pushing of buttons. Foolishly, I believed the HD saleperson as to the quality of the Adora line and GE as a company. And of course I went hog wild and bought the entire kitchen and Clothes washing suite. Shame on me! Never again with a GE product!!!

This was a DIY install, and it wasn't clear at all what was included from an installation perspective but it turned out to be everything I needed. This model does not have rear wheels like some of the others, and all four feet have levelers that have to be adjusted... and it's a real pain to get it into it's final position and adjust those rear levelers! Good luck if you have big arms. A few other things about the install and documentation that were annoying, but I won't get into. Why did I give it five stars? Because it's ability to clean stuff is SO MUCH BETTER than the dishwasher it replaced (which I won't name). I have used the word "miraculous" multiple times with my family when pulling out the clean dishes. Any maybe those little "pod" samples or rinse stuff has something to do with it, but no more spots on glasses and flatware. Miraculous... So, I didn't like the install... but now that it's in I'm very happy with it.

The installation instructions were terrible and we did not get a user's guide so having trouble figuring out how to use it. Cant say how good it works as it was just installed yesterday. Time will tell. Plus there was water inside the unit so we are not sure if it was used then returned. I dont see a note anywhere that the unit was pressure tested before it was packed.
