This video will walk you through the simple steps you must take in order to ensure a successful delivery and installation of your new Dishwasher from The Home Depot.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- New dishwasher connection kit
- Water supply line (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Electrical outlet within 6 ft. of hook up
- The rough cabinet opening must be at least: 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H
- Measure your rough cabinet opening
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty and unplug your old dishwasher

We didn’t get to choose this dishwasher as we purchased new construction and the builder already chose it but it’s terrible. I can never fit all my dishes in due to the design but what is worse is that it doesn’t clean. I have rerun loads and tried other detergents and no luck. I scheduled a service appointment to see if maybe they can figure it out. We had GE profile appliances in our previous home and had no issues. This is clearly the cheap model.

Got this model because my old dishwasher with the SS interior just didn't dry the dishes good. You can do a dry only cycle on the machine. I found how to get the stem glasses to fit by slanting them towards the middle. I think this has more room than the old maytag I had. Not overly noisy. Cleans and dries the dishes fine. So far I'm very happy with this model.

The tech's cleaned up the area, showed my wife and I the new dishwasher, explaining all the functions. The tech's started a load of dishes for us, and waited a short time to ensure the dishwasher was working properly. Lastly, the tech's made sure we had the point of contact for the company service department in case we had any issues after the fact. Again, very professional technicians representing GE!

HLeaks water, there is standing water at the bottom of dishwater when you open it, we have only been at the new home for 3 weeks and had issues with the dishwasher since 2nd run. Using Finish products as recommended since 1st use.

Very little fits inside this dishwasher. If you cook at all, you'll be running it twice a day and still need to hand wash all your regular size pots and pans. Only my tiny pan pits inside and maybe 4 plates and 2 to 4 bowls. The top rack is so shallow you can't even stand up a wine glass, much less a pot.
