What is the difference between a TM1615RCU and a TM1615RCUP? What does the P indicate?

Asked by Terry February 17, 2019

Answer

Thank you for your question. The P model is the newest version with a retail packaging label for better information on the shelf in stores. There is no difference between the actual product, just the outer packaging.

These haven't changed much in 30 years ..... replaced old panel in a double-wide trailer. Solid quality. I didn't put AFCI's in the bedrooms (arc fault circuit breakers) per latest code because they are expensive. If we go to sell the unit and some Inspector "dings" us for that, I will have to bite the bullet and buy 2 AFCI's ... other than that, Installation went pretty smooth,,,,

Panel size works great for replacing an outdated original panel and 32 circuits is more than enough for most existing set-ups. I really like the fact that the bus is copper and the main is rated for 22K AIC.
