This video will walk you through the simple steps you must take in order to ensure a successful delivery and installation of your new Dishwasher from The Home Depot.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- New dishwasher connection kit
- Water supply line (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Electrical outlet within 6 ft. of hook up
- The rough cabinet opening must be at least: 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H
- Measure your rough cabinet opening
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty and unplug your old dishwasher

It’s a really nice dishwasher!
My main criteria for a dishwasher was that it could fit under a 33 7/8 inch high counter. This one fits with 1/2 inch to spare.
The fact that it’s a great dishwasher is a bonus.
It’s super quiet, very fast and gets the dishes clean and dry.
Oh, and it has Wi-Fi so it notifies me on my watch and phone when the dishes are done, which is kind of unnecessary but if you’re a tech geek like me, you’ll love it.

Dishwasher runs a bit louder than expected
It sounds like a hose is running inside the dishwasher when it’s running. It almost sounds like there is a hose running at the top of the inside and splashing on the bottom of the dishwasher. This is much louder than my last GE dishwasher

We'll pleased with it
This is a replacement dishwasher for one that started malfunctioning and melting our plastics. Needed to match brand for home value. So far pleased with all other GEProfile appliances. Even though it's the same size on the outside, it seems to have less space for dishes. We got the third rack for silverware. There is no good place to put stemware glasses like to my old one. The wifi comes in handy only to know when dishes are done. Few benefits other than that IMO.

I love this dishwasher
When the dishwasher that came with my house finally died, I found this updated same model. It cleans great and quietly, always smells fresh, dries plastic so much better, has the third rack at the top and even notifies me on my smartphone when the cycle finishes

Upgrade
We upgraded our 2004 GE PROFILE DW to the new profile model. The original was still working after all these years (17) but the door spring gave out. We could of had it repaired but we laid it to rest rather than trying to put band aids on it. If this newer model is anything close to the old one we’ll be extremely happy. The newer features are definitely a plus with an outside light telling you what cycle DW is in. And third top shelf for flatware. GE has served us well for decades and it was a no brainer going back to GE with this upgrade.

Bottom rack collapsed on us multiple times, chipping our dishes....
Bottom rack collapsed on us multiple times, chipping our dishes. Front door has a scratch from install we didn’t notice within 48 hours because we were busy with life events. You refuse to do anything about any of it because of you 48 hour policy. We are extremely dissatisfied with the product and customer service.
