Does this oven have self cleaning feature?
Asked by Mom February 21, 2021Hi Mom, thanks for reaching out. This range does not have a self-clean feature. However, it does have a steam-cleaning feature. Racks can be left in the oven when using the steam-clean feature. The steam will loosen soil on the racks as well as the oven interior, which then can be wiped off with a soapy dishcloth. This feature is quicker, cooler and faster than the self-clean feature. We hope this is useful information! - Guy@GEA

If you're debating about the types of controls, there is an article on our website titled "ELECTRIC RANGE AND COOKTOP - GLIDE TOUCH CONTROLS" that talks more about the usage of glide touch controls. Asked by Vermonter February 17, 2021Hi there, Elza - Great question! We're finding that this range only has a Steam Clean cycle and not Self-Clean. For heavy, burned-on residue, a razor scraper can be used. Hold a razor scraper at about a 45 degree angle against the ceramic glass surface and scrape soil. It will be necessary to apply pressure to the razor scraper in order to remove the residue. We hope this helps. Does it come with a powercord?

It is not possible to determine the type of facilities each consumer has available or what the local electrical codes require (ex. 3-wire vs 4-wire cord). We would recommend reaching out to Home Depot to see if they are able to assist you in locating a power cord that will work for this range in your home. Does this have an exhaust built in?
Asked by Montana November 29, 2020If you are talking about a ventilation system to collect and send steam vapors from the stovetop surface to an outside area, then no... no range/oven combo does to my knowledge. Some drop-in cooktops (no oven below) have a ventilation system with the intake at the top rear of the cooktop and an exhaust port beneath the cooktop which is intended to be connected to ductwork either thru the floor or lower back wall leading to an outside area
