Profile 6.6 cu. ft. Double Oven Electric Range with Self-Cleaning Convection Oven in Black Stainless Steel

Good features and quality for the price! Double oven working very well for carry-in meals at church!

Purchased as a replacement for our Maytag "Gemini" which blew a circuit board that could not be replaced because it is no longer made. It's the same thing, really, with a couple of variable burners and its main trait: two ovens. Many companies have copied the basic Gemini design. This is a true double oven, not a single oven with a board in between that can be removed. Be aware of this if you are shopping. With the Gemini, there was a switch that controlled how much of the burner was used. You controlled the heat with the knob that ran the full range of travel. Not so with this one. With the "three burner" you use the same knob for all three modes, but the range of travel is very small, basically a third of a normal knob. This makes controlling the heat more difficult. The range also has convection cooking and "air frying" on the larger oven, and if that is not enough, it has WiFi capability, so, just like with my garage door openers, you can control it from several states away with your smart phone. I must confess I have not tried that, but I guess such a feature is expected these days, for some reason that remains obscure to me. So, not a bad unit. Now let's see how long it lasts.

We have no complaints with this oven. it seems to work fine.

Glad I bought the extended warranty. I have had the service man out 3 times and it is till not working. The way I would expect the hot cook top light is not working. Just hope it's fixed before my kids burn themselves or it burns my house down.

Has all the modern features rolled into one pleasing cabinet.

So far we like this a lot. It replaced a 15 year old GE Profile that the board was going out. Alexa connectivity is good once you figure out to set the SmartHQ program first. The air fry pan is not included and is out of stock. No documentation comes with it, you need to download it and print if you want a hard copy. Once you do the is not very much helpful information. The bridge burner does not seem as functional as the old model, but we will see when we use it more. I am sure that we will like it just fine as we continue to use it.

I purchased this range after much research. I had to have the double ovens. Great features (still learning all of them). The only con I have right now is that the burners and oven seem to take longer to heat up than I would have expected from a new range.

The principal reason for buying this range was to replace an old coil burner range which, although functional, was decades in the past for basic cooking! I was sold on the double oven, glass-top range and the black stainless finish were all must-haves. Initially I wanted a different model with touch control, but after seeing it in person (and the price!!) I chose this as my second option. Features and functionality have mostly lived up to what I expected. There are several things I would like to see updated though. One is the markings around the bottom of the range control knobs are not easily visible. They should be extended out from the knob so they can be more easily read. This is especially noticeable when selecting different multi-size burners. The right front controls are divided between 2 knobs. The medium size burner, which I use frequently, has most of its control markings underneath the knob, where they are difficult to see, requiring you to look under the knob to tell the exact control position. Lastly, I have been unable to access the range's Wifi Connect features to control the oven. The range is paired with my network, but the app does not do anything. Disappointed there. Aside from those 2 concerns, it's everything I wanted!

GE Profile replaced my 19 year old Maytag Gemini. The ovens are both nice sizes. I’m a little nervous about the glass top since I see a tiny scratch already. I never had any difficulty with the Gemini glass top so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I had to get used to using the broil setting to toast since the Profile doesn’t have a top oven Toaster setting. I love the Convection Roast setting for meat and the Convection Bake for cookies. I do need to try out the Air Fry setting. I was waiting for baking racks to fit my cookie sheets. So far so good

Absolutely love this oven. We are so glad we went with this.
