Profile 6.6 cu. ft. Double Oven Electric Range with Self-Cleaning and Convection Lower Oven in Stainless Steel

This stove replaced a GE Profile single oven stove. I like the dual ovens, though it is easy to get severe facial steaming when open the lower oven. The cooktop has been disappointing. Unlike my old GE, their is no "bridge" burner making for uneven heating of a large griddle or pan. My main complaint is the large front burner. It's the only large burner, so must be used for many pots and pans. The fast boil feature seriously effects the evenness of my big frying pans heating because the center seems to always heat up extremely hot, even if the burner is on much lower settings. It has me looking for a portable induction burner or some other substitute to use for my large pans. It is very disappointing after using GE appliances for decades. It's beautiful and I like the ovens but the cooktop makes me want to sell it.

Love the oven - the finish and controls are high quality. I really enjoy the option to use the smaller oven for one-dish baking. Preheats and boils very quickly. The cooktop controls are precise for consistency in cooking. So far the cooktop cleans up nicely. I enjoy not having an oven drawer taking up unnecessary space. Really cleaned up the look of my kitchen too!

Love this rain our previous range was also a general electric slide in range unfortunately the electric panel went out so the oven stopped working I love this one it’s so clean and sleek having the to the double ranges is wonderful to cook several things at the same time

Beautiful and efficient oven. Cooks evenly and I love the double oven and no knobs which are hard to clean. Like the convection feature as well. Easy to use and looks nice in my kitchen.

If you've never had a double oven, get one! The benefits including quick heating of the smaller top oven are amazing. This oven was rated by the NY Times as the best dual oven, so we splurged to get this instead of a cheaper GE model. We liked the cleaning and heating features on this one (haven't used all features, yet, though). The quibbles (see photos): - There are rounded metal knobs protruding from near the top of the back of the oven which keep it from being pushed flush against the wall. So it sticks out a little beyond the counter. I don't even remember if our prior stuck out a little, and it's possible every available double oven would stick out the same. - Our prior double oven metal racks were on a roller system and moved in and out very easily. This oven's racks are more standard and thus don't glide as easily. Again, perhaps other options are all this way, now. It's not that big a deal. Other Comments: - The back of the oven has an opening all along the bottom so your electric plug/receptacle can be sticking out from the wall (no need to rewire anything, unless possibly your box is vertical instead of horizontal). - I've seen general oven complaints about vents letting in spills, or the top of the oven being smooth (no lip) so spills go over the side easily. We haven't experienced this yet in the couple weeks we've owned it. I guess if you're a slob (haha) get an oven with a lip on the top. This does not have one. - The oven came with some glasstop cleaner - that was nice! Oddly the cleaner that was included did not match the owner manual recommended brand, but I suspect it works fine. I find a slightly wet paper towel has done pretty well keeping it clean for now (but I'll have to break out that cleaner soon).

I love how this stove fit right in my my remodel on my kitchen. It looks great. It works great. Best of all, it feels great. It feels strong and sturdy. My older stove didn't take the same kind of electrical connection, so I had to change that with an electrician. While annoying, this is more convenient and modern. And it fit like a glove in the space we had.

Anxious to actually start using it this week. The features for setting clock and exploring other features was easy to learn so far. Love the Sabbath feature.
